I was born and raised in Medicine Hat with several rural farming roots throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan. After completing high school, I moved to Edmonton and obtained a Bachelor of Medical Science Degree from the University of Alberta. Not deterred by the big-city life, I stayed at the University of Alberta to complete the Doctor of Medicine Program and subsequently the Family Medicine Residency Program. I absolutely love working in primary care, and I have an additional interest in women's health and low-risk obstetrics. I trained under my fantastic colleagues at the Westgrove Clinic and couldn't be more thrilled to be joining the Westgrove Clinic team, along with the Westgrove Maternity Group, as part of your medical home!
Outside of work, I continue to play Ringette competitively and have been a goaltender for over twenty years. If I am not in the rink you will likely find me tucked into a board game cafe, at home reading a good book, or outdoors and travelling with my family and friends.
