Lindsay Azure, LPNOR
Clinical Quality Improvement Lead

I was born in Edmonton, AB and raised in Fort Saskatchewan, AB. I took my LPN course from Norquest College and graduated in 2006. I am currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Health Administration through Athabasca University. I plan to graduate by 2023. I started my career with Westgrove clinic in January 2019. Prior to joining the Westgrove Clinic Team I worked as a Licensed Practical nurse in the Operating room within the capital region. I have also worked as a resource in clinic nurse and the Electronic Medical Records Coordinator through the Primary Care Network. Since I was a little girl I have always been fascinated with Medicine in some form or fashion. I wanted to be a doctor when I grew up and loved the nurse that worked with my Family physician. After I graduated high school I had plans to become a graphic designer but my love for healthcare and people won over my heart. I began taking university courses and later enrolled in the Practical Nursing Program. I love being a nurse in all capacities of my career. I am passionate about the health of my patients and strive towards making the health care system a quality for all Canadians.

When I am not in clinic I am at home raising my twin boys and enjoying time with friends and family. I enjoy playing the piano and cheering my kids on in their activities. Sometimes you may find me taking in the symphony at the Winspear or boarding a flight to a far off destination and enjoying the different cultures of the world.
