I was born In Pakistan and immigrated to Canada with my family at a young age. I was raised in Ontario and attended McMaster University, for an honours undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Health Sciences. I moved to Edmonton for medical school at the University of Alberta in 2013 and stayed to complete my Family Medicine residency. During my residency training, I learned under the supervision of the doctors at Westgrove Clinic and graduated in 2019.
Within general family medicine, I have a keen interest in maternity care and women’s health. I joined the clinic after my training and am also part of the Westgrove Maternity Care group.
Outside of work, I try to find all opportunities to head to the mountains as hiking is a passion of mine.
